Sprain and strain

Neck sprains and strains are one of the most common causes of neck pain. Sprains and strains generally arise due to muscle fatigue or bad poses. Neck pain therapy can sooth such issues.

Long hours of sitting in a slouched position in front of a computer screen puts pressure on the nerves and muscles in the neck area leading to ache. An ill habit like sleeping heightened pillows is also one of the culprits.

Bone-related injuries

Bones in the body can become weak and fragile due to the normal wear and tear, deficiency of nutrients or lack of exercise. Conditions like osteoporosis, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis are bone-related injuries that create a throbbing effect in the neck.

Physical ailments

If you are a victim of or are prone to arthritis, migraine, or tension headaches, you have involuntarily signed up for neck pain. Glitches with musculoskeletal and neurovascular structures in the upper neck also causes headaches. So it is a vicious circle where headaches cause neck pain and neck pain causes a headache; physiotherapy for neck pain is the only way to deal with it.

Neck joint mutilations

When there is stiffness in the neck, the spasm is accompanied with loss of movement and pain. This condition is called a wry neck. Slightest of damage to the facet joint produced by regressive exercises or excess pressure can instigate limited mobility and immense pain.
